Katarina Popović, PhD is Associate Professor at the Department for Andragogy, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, researcher at the Institute for Pedagogy and Andragogy of the same Faculty, Secretary General of ICAE (International Council for Adult Education), visiting professor for adult education and lifelong learning at several universities, and president of the Serbian Adult Education Society. She is the member of International Adult and Continuing Education Hall of Fame and relevant European and international organisations, Honorary Fellow of the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning, editor in chief of the journal Andragogical studies and member of editorial board of several other journals, certified trainer in adult education and author of numerous publications, articles and books in the field of adult education and lifelong learning.

António Fragoso holds a PhD in Pedagogy and is associate professor at the University of Algarve, Portugal. He was a member of the steering committee of ESREA and currently belongs to the editorial committee of the European Journal for Research on the Education and Learning of Adults (RELA). His research focuses on adult education, community development and education, non-traditional students in higher education and education and learning of older adults.
